The greenest option available is hosting on Google's infrastructure by using their Apps for your domain product or their Appengine service. Unlike many other "green" hosting services that simply use green electricity Google are green from the ground up, they use bespoke hardware that can operate at high temperatures reducing the need for excessive cooling. Where possible they passively cool their data centres. Where possible they use wind, hydroelectric or solar power and they have bespoke networking equipment that is also low power and high performance. Without a doubt Google operate the greenest computing platform on the planet.
When we can't use Google (perhaps due to strict bespoke requirements) we will use other green hosting providers.
